TecnologÃas y Servicios Agrarios, SA, SME, MP, a subsidiary of the TRAGSA GROUP, specializing in engineering, consulting, and technical assistance activities in agricultural, livestock, forestry, and environmental matters, is seeking to incorporate 1 Support Technician for the Coordination and Strategic Monitoring of the EUROCLIMA programs (Belgium).

Contract located in Madrid, with long-term travel to Brussels (Belgium)The organization of work in this position requires the continuous presence of the worker at the workplace during working hours. In the event that, due to unforeseen need, this cannot be fulfilled, the worker will be repatriated with all guarantees.
Functions and Tasks
- This staff will primarily be responsible for managing and supervising program execution in the intervention areas, ensuring efficient planning, fluid communication between key stakeholders, and implementation aligned with strategic objectives. Their main tasks include:
- Support in the coordination and communication of the Action, supporting ongoing dialogue between the assigned Management, the Technical Assistance team, and the Costa Rican Economic and Social Council (OCE) for efficient program management.
- Assist AECID (Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation) in the strategic planning and supervision of the Action and the assignment, establishing strategies for the execution of field activities, optimizing available resources, and ensuring compliance with deadlines and quality.
- Support operational supervision in the execution of activities, monitoring project progress, evaluating impact, and supporting the preparation of proposed technical and financial reports for programs.
- Provide support in risk management and regulatory compliance, supporting the identification of obstacles, proposing solutions, and monitoring compliance with rules and regulations.
- Participation in the Program Support Unit and transmission of strategic information: Providing information on progress, communicating priorities and strategic decisions to AECID, and monitoring EU-AECID agreements.
- Participation in committees, events, and preparation of strategic documents: Advising on decision-making, organizing events, and developing strategies for program implementation.
Specific Requirements

- Official training certificate or proof of payment of fees for the issuance of the academic certificate.
- Work history and/or employment contract that allows verification and accreditation of the required experience
Training
Title
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree + official Master’s degree in Biology or Environmental Sciences, or in Social and Legal Sciences; or an Engineering degree or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technical Engineering + official Master’s degree in Agricultural, Environmental, or Forestry Engineering (degree recognized in Spain or equivalency certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities).
Languages
- English, Minimum Level B2 (the level will be verified during the Selection process).
Previous Experience
- At least 5 years of work experience in development cooperation projects.
- At least 3 years of work experience in the climate change sector

Previous Experience

- From 1 day to 5 years performing functions such as management of European funds and programs and knowledge of the European framework for external action (work experience)
- From 1 year to 5 years of experience in public procurement, including the preparation and review of tender documents and calls for tender, as well as the processing and monitoring of administrative procedures (work experience).
- From 1 year to 5 years of experience in management, regulation and justification of subsidies and grants in the field of international cooperation (work experience)
