URGENT NEED: Simulation and Clinical Skills Education at Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHeS) | Lilongwe, Malawi – Jan/Feb 2026 At Seed Global Health

PARTNERSHIP OVERVIEW

The partnership between KUHeS TLDC and Seed aims to strengthen reproductive, maternal, neonatal, and child health (RMNCH) education and practice in Malawi by embedding simulation-based and interprofessional teaching approaches within training programmes and clinical sites. The collaboration will establish a simulation centre at KUHeS, integrate simulation and team-based learning into curricula, and build faculty capacity in simulation pedagogy, interprofessional education (IPEC), and non-technical skills. It will also extend to clinical teaching sites through skills corners, capacity-building of healthcare workers, and adoption of new teaching and assessment guidelines. With strong faculty development, curriculum integration, and national stakeholder engagement, this partnership will ensure that KUHeS graduates and practicing health workers are better equipped with critical clinical, analytical, and collaborative skills, ultimately advancing RMNCH outcomes in Malawi.
