Responsibilities:

  • Organizing the logistical aspects of training and events (venue reservations, accommodation, transportation, catering, etc.)
  • Coordination with the relevant authorities to obtain the necessary official approvals to implement activities.
  • Preparing required documents and ensuring their proper archiving (attendance lists, invoices, service contracts, etc.)
  • Communicate with local suppliers, hotels, and vendors to ensure the necessary logistics services are provided.
  • Prepare summary reports documenting the logistical arrangements for each activity.
  • Support the management team in daily operational tasks related to the project.
  • Assist in monitoring and evaluation processes by collecting participant and supplier feedback, tracking attendance and quality of services, and preparing reports on lessons learned to improve future activities.

Required certificates and competencies:

  • University degree in management, project management, logistics, or a related field
  • Preferences
    • Obtain training or courses in event management, procurement, or monitoring and evaluation (M&E).
  • Work experience
    • At least two years of experience in logistics management, event organization, or administrative support within projects or organizations.
    • Experience in coordinating with suppliers, hotels, and local service providers.
    • Ability to prepare reports and maintain proper documentation
    • Experience in data collection for monitoring and evaluation purposes is a plus.
  • Skills
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Word, and knowledge of project management or data organization tools
