Activities Coordinator

Job summary:
Coordinating, implementing, and monitoring planned activities within the project, ensuring their quality and suitability to the beneficiaries’ needs, in line with the project’s objectives and the organization’s policies.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Coordinating, implementing, and monitoring planned activities within the project, ensuring their quality and suitability to the beneficiaries’ needs, in line with the project’s objectives and the organization’s policies.
Coordination and implementation of activities:
- Planning and organizing daily and weekly activities according to the project plan.
- Coordination with trainers/facilitators to implement activities.
- Ensuring the availability of the venue and the necessary materials for each activity.
- Monitoring the implementation of activities in the field and ensuring adherence to the timetable.
Working with beneficiaries:
- Communicating with beneficiaries and encouraging their active participation.
- Monitoring and documenting attendance and participation.
- Taking into account the most vulnerable groups and gender needs.
For follow-up and documentation:
- Documenting the activities carried out (photos, attendance lists, reports).
- Preparing periodic reports on activities carried out and challenges.
- Coordinate with the MEAL team when data collection is needed.
Internal layout:
- Coordination with the center’s management and the project team.
- Collaborating with logistics and administrative teams to ensure that activities run smoothly.
- Report any problems or needs related to the activities.
Commitment to protection and quality:
- Compliance with the Safeguarding policies and code of conduct.
- Ensuring a safe environment for beneficiaries during activities.
Report any risks or complaints according to the organization’s mechanisms.
- Basic requirements:
University degree or intermediate institute degree (final year students are accepted).
At least one year of experience in coordinating activities or community work.
Previous experience in women’s empowerment projects or community work is preferred.
Full compliance with protection policies.
Signing the organization’s code of conduct
- Desired requirements:
- High organizational and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- The ability to prepare reports.
- Working as part of a team and handling work pressure.
- Familiarity with the principles of gender and women’s empowerment.
- Proficiency in using computers (Word, Excel, Email).
