Founded in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights hunger worldwide. Its charter of humanitarian principles—independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, and transparency—has defined its identity for 45 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection, and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Mission :
Under the supervision of the Country Director, you will ensure the logistical performance of Action Against Hunger’s country office in the Central African Republic and coordinate its implementation to provide the best possible support to programs.
Your responsibilities will include:
Contributing to the definition of the country office strategy
; Coordinating logistics at the national level;
Managing international transport in conjunction with headquarters;
Ensuring the relevance and leading the implementation of the country office’s security policy, and contributing to the implementation of the country office’s safety policy;
Promoting and ensuring collaboration and logistical coordination with the country office’s partners;
Preventing and managing situations of fraud and corruption;
Supervising and supporting the Logistics team in the capital and serving as the Functional Manager for Logistics Managers in the field offices

Profile :
You hold an advanced university degree and have at least two years of professional experience in international development, humanitarian aid, or a related field.
You have worked with national partners and possess strong organizational and research skills, along with a broad understanding of various sectors and program activities. You also have a proven track record in mentoring and management/coaching.
You are familiar with the project management cycle and project management tools, as well as donor rules and regulations regarding logistical issues.
Organized, flexible, and detail-oriented, you are able to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
You are proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office, and have excellent written and oral communication skills in French. Proficiency in English is an asset.
Employment conditions
Vaccination against Mpox is recommended for employees travelling to this country.
Fixed-term contract under French law: 12 months.
Gross monthly salary: €2,597 to €2,968 depending on experience, including a 13th-month bonus.
Retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary.
Base salary increase: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract.
Monthly per diem and living expenses: €746 net, paid on-site.
Monthly context allowance: €150.
Child allowance: €1,500 per year per child present in the country of origin (capped at €6,000/year).
Transport and accommodation: Travel and shared accommodation provided.
Medical coverage: 100% coverage of health insurance contributions and repatriation insurance, and your medical expenses for up to one month after the end of your contract.
Salary maintenance schemes (illness, maternity, paternity).
Leave and R&R: 25 days of paid leave per year. 20 RnRs per year; travel expenses covered up to a certain limit to reach the chosen break zone, and a flat-rate allowance of €215 per RnR.
