Program Background
PROSIVU is an Australian Government-funded program that focuses on strengthening governance in Timor-Leste. This eight-year program (2022 – 2030) works in partnership with the Government of Timor-Leste to help Timor-Leste achieve its goal of becoming an upper-middle-income country by 2030. It is Australia’s primary program supporting Timor-Leste’s central government agencies and economic line-ministries in improving governance, economic policy and public sector reform. DT Global supports the implementation of PROSIVU on behalf of the Australian Government.

The Role
The objectives of the role are to provide advice and assistance to SEFOPE in relation to the DBS, including in areas of planning, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting.

About You
Essential Experience and Knowledge
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (for example, in economics, financial management, public administration) and considerable relevant work experience, preferably coordinating complex programs of economic or other development support.
- Fluent in English language, both oral and written, and ability to interpret and translate between English and Tetum languages.
Desirable Experience and Knowledge
- Experience working with donor-funded development programs.
- Experience working with direct budget support.
