Job summary:

The nurse supports the provision of direct nursing care to patients within the clinic, ensuring their comfort and safety, by implementing prescribed treatment plans and continuously monitoring their health. This includes measuring vital signs, administering treatments and nursing procedures, and educating patients about healthcare. The nurse also adheres to infection control protocols and quality standards, and coordinates with the medical team to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and effective healthcare services.

Responsibilities and tasks:

1. Conduct initial and follow-up assessments, including measuring vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiratory rate), weight, height, and visual acuity, according to approved healthcare protocols at resettlement centers.

2. Collect and prepare biological samples (such as blood, urine, sputum) following infection prevention and control procedures and laboratory guidelines.

3. Maintaining the accuracy, confidentiality, and timely documentation of patient records, medical certificates, and reporting forms, in accordance with the requirements of the institution and donors.

4. Adherence to and promotion of infection prevention and control protocols, and participation in quality assurance activities to maintain the highest standards of care.

5. Performing any other nursing-related tasks assigned by supervisors to support the delivery of health services in line with the organization’s objectives.

Qualifications :

1. Certificate from a nursing institute, nursing college, or nursing school. Minimum of two years of experience.

2. Proficiency in computer use and experience with healthcare databases and applications.

3. Written and oral communication skills

4. Ability to withstand work pressure

Qualifications, Experience, and Attributes
