Mission
The GUPA (One-Stop Shop for the Association Hub) has the primary objective of promoting and building a vibrant association life within MSF France, through informing members, internal discussions, developing mobilization tools, and sharing experiences.
The GUPA is also responsible for the administrative management of memberships and organizing key association events.
You will support the team in facilitating the association’s member networks both in field missions and in France.
Main activities
Under the guidance of the Network Coordinator, you will participate in various projects:
- To ensure the administrative follow-up of the network’s activities:
- Follow up on membership applications to the association, edit and send membership cards, and ensure the accounting follow-up of memberships;
- Capitalize on information from associative networks.
- Supporting the life and organization of activities of associative networks in MSF missions, in France and at MSF’s Paris headquarters:
- To provide support to network members and respond to their requests (e.g., mobilizing volunteers, supporting the organization of events);
- Develop and disseminate communication and mobilization tools;
- To support the organization of association events: exhibitions, festivals, FAD (annual association debates in the field), Boards of Directors, General Assembly and other events;
- Promote the actions of associative networks;
- To provide support for the operation of the PSN (peer support system).
- Translating documents between English and French;
Depending on needs and availability, you may be involved in other topics related to GUPA’s activities.
Desired profile
- Strong interest in community organizations;
- Interest in the humanitarian sector and/or experience in associations or NGOs;
- Higher education (Grande Ecole, IEP, University): BAC +3 minimum, ideally pursuing training in humanitarian project management, social sciences, international relations and/or humanitarian action, management sciences ;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and basic knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop would be an asset;
- Web and social media skills;
Languages: Fluent French and English (spoken, written), minimum level B2 in both languages.

Status and conditions
- One or two year alternating contract depending on the level of studies (apprenticeship or professional training depending on profile).
- Flexible schedule with a preference for people who can be present for full weeks.
- Position based in Paris with possible travel

- Remuneration from 43% to 100% of the minimum wage depending on age and level of education.
- Supplementary health insurance fully covered by MSF.
- Meal vouchers with a face value of €12 (60% covered by MSF). 50% coverage of public transport passes (weekly, monthly or annual) or bicycle mileage allowance (€0.25 per km, limited to €450 per year).
