PURPOSE OF THE WORK

The telephone interviewer will be responsible for collecting pertinent information regarding the productive, commercial and/or employability vocation of women from Venezuela and the host communities, by telephone, within the framework of the project implemented by ACTED in La Guajira, as well as also to be able to deliver the information collected in the communities at the established times. In addition, the pollster will have to digitize and systematize information at times when they are not collecting information.

GOALS

  1. Under the direction and supervision of the Economic Empowerment Specialist, the AME Official and the Project Manager, the ACTED Interviewer is responsible for the application of structured questionnaires by telephone to beneficiaries of the ACTED 44 EUN project in La Guajira (Maicao and Riohacha).

The interviewer must take into account that to guarantee the effectiveness and validation of each questionnaire it is necessary: ​​to manage the evaluation form of productive, commercial and/or employability vocation through KOBO through the mobile device provided for this purpose ; obtain the informed consent of the beneficiaries – of legal age; record text response(s) and comments with regular expressions when necessary; have the necessary time to audit the quality of the questionnaires carried out and receive feedback on the development of the surveys; comply with the data protection policies and other ACTED protocols.

DELIVERABLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Interviewer ensures adherence to ACTED’s humanitarian principles, policies, tools, processes, manuals, guidelines and codes.
  • To guarantee optimal compliance with the surveys required, the Surveyor must fill out the forms through KOBO on a mobile device in the field, the Surveyor will have the support of the AME officer.
  • The Interviewer will use the entire spectrum of communication options available, especially via email, WhatsApp, phone calls and text messages.
  • The Interviewer must attend the training days and test surveys that are scheduled during the period designated for the activity (June-2022).
  • The ACTED interviewer is responsible for guaranteeing that all relations with the beneficiaries and/or their members are carried out in a respectful and consultative manner. Due attention should be paid to ensuring that respondents are adequately consulted and informed about the satisfaction survey.
  • The Surveyor must make responsible and transparent use of the assigned usernames/passwords, campaigns and questionnaires, to guarantee compliance with a daily quota of effective surveys carried out on the assigned beneficiaries.
  • The Surveyor will support the ACTED AME Officer in identifying and reporting the trends and progress of the surveys in each community.
  • The Interviewer will keep strict confidentiality of all the information to which they have access and knowledge due to the development of surveys and that is of a private, confidential nature or whose communication may cause harm, ensuring full compliance with the data protection policy. and ACTED standard operating procedures.
  • The Interviewer/daily after the daily culmination of the surveys, will inform the field coordination and the AME official the number of surveys carried out per day and will also upload all the forms carried out to the cloud.
  • The Interviewer undertakes to comply with the established contractual obligations.
  • The interviewer must be available to carry out data digitization and systematization tasks at times when they are not conducting data collection.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE PERSON / INTERVIEWER (A)

Profile:

Technicians and/or professionals with experience in conducting face-to-face and/or remote surveys through the use of Software and web applications/and with mobile devices such as Mega Dialer, Enketo, ODK, KoboToolBox. based in the city of Riohacha, Department of La Guajira, Venezuela .

Experience and qualifications:

  • Technical and/or professional experience of at least three (3) months;
  • Minimum specific experience of three (3) months developing surveys in person and/or remotely
  • Demonstrate understanding and management of information and communication technologies.
  • Experience in data digitization

Desirable:

  • Experience in social projects or in the humanitarian sector;
  • Skills and knowledge for handling advanced information and communication technologies;
  • Experience of working in complex environments;
  • Willingness to assist and provide the service with assistance to the ACTED office in Puerto Ayacucho, Amazonas, Venezuela.

Skills:

Mastery of information and communication technologies; social and communication skills; Knowledge of the Enketo web application- KoboToolBox, Google forms, Google Drive, Skype.

CONTRACTUAL CONDITIONS:

  • Contract for the provision of services for one month, renewable according to the financing of the program.
  • Affiliations to social security as an independent contributor to the contributory regime.
  • The insurance payment is the responsibility of the contractor, the base income for the social security contribution is 40% of the total monthly income.
