Background
Pathfinder International operates in more than 12 countries and faces complex operational requirements, supported by diverse funding sources.
Our Microsoft Dynamics NAV-based financial management system (Serenic Navigator / Sylogist Mission ERP) was implemented in 2012 and upgraded in 2017. It now requires a major upgrade to O365 Business Central, which would involve significant implementation effort, re-licensing costs, and overall expense.
Pathfinder International invites qualified vendors to provide an overview of their offerings.
1. Objective
Pathfinder International is conducting market research to obtain a better understanding of solutions available in the market. We are requesting vendors to provide 45 minute presentations outlining their offerings.
2. Participants
We welcome firms who are able to deliver on the requirements below.
3. Presentation Requirements and Instructions
This RFI aims to assist Pathfinder in developing its requirements and to compile a short-list of potential suppliers with demonstrable technical and financial capabilities who will be invited to a bidding process. The corresponding tender will be subject to Pathfinder’s procurement policies and procedures and is expected to result, in establishment of a contract for the above.
Presentations should be limited to 45 minutes. We will use the last 15 minutes for questions. Vendors should highlight any features that set your software apart from others.
The presentations should cover the following modules, listed by priority:
- Accounting/Finance Module
- Asset Management
- AP invoice approval and payment workflow
- Multi-currency capabilities
- Multi-unit consolidation / intercompany capabilities
- Non-profit FS prep and integration capability with outside FP&A
- Procurement Module and workflow integration with AP
- Contract Management/Grant Management
- Project Management
- Time Permitting: IT, Timekeeping, and HR modules or integrations
Based on the presentations, Pathfinder will prepare a solicitation and invite vendors to a formal RFP process.

6. Further information
