A major player in the social and solidarity economy, the French Red Cross is piloting a network of more than 600 establishments and services in the health, medico-social and training sectors. She is also head of 12 regional health and social training institutes.
Internationally, the CRF operates in 16 countries alongside the National Companies and 2 regional platforms ( PIRAC and PIROI ), on the following themes: Health and Disaster Risk Management.

The French Red Cross, in close collaboration with the Nigerian Red Cross and other entities of the Movement, is, aims to strengthen the capacities of local communities and organizations to make them at the forefront of’action in humanitarian and health crisis situations. The CRF intervenes, thanks to the’ support of the European Union, in two regions (Tahoua and Tillabery) and sets up activities on three pillars :
- Support for the preparation and response to epidemics and pandemics with the pre-positioning of contingency stocks as well as support for the development of epidemic preparedness and response plans
- Support for disaster risk management with the establishment of’community intervention teams and the scaling up and extension of the’ FbF approach
- Support for humanitarian assistance and protection of people on the move with the care of sick displaced persons referred to secondary or tertiary hospitals and equipment donations to health supported

Function :
The objective of the logistics coordinator is to ensure the proper functioning of the logistics service of the CRF mission in Niger and to guarantee quality logistical support to the projects implemented. Relays of the Paris headquarters on the one hand and the regional office ( Dakar ), it is in charge of respecting the logistical and security procedures of the FIU in the country.
It manages, supervises and trains its employees and all the national employees for this purpose. It ensures strict compliance with donor procedures. It ensures the maintenance of good relations with logistics partners, the authorities, the Red Cross Movement, suppliers and service providers as well as actors in the humanitarian community.

Training :
Higher diploma /vocational training in logistics or equivalent justifying a significant knowledge in all areas of logistics
Requirements of the position :
