Founded in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights hunger worldwide. Its charter of humanitarian principles—independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, and transparency—has defined its identity for 45 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection, and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Assignment :
Reporting to the Program Support Officer, your responsibilities will include:
Providing support to the team and missions in the contractual management of projects and reporting
Support missions and participate in the production of operational data compilations (e.g., Activity Progress Reports – APRs).
Monitor contracts and reporting deadlines.
Assist in the preparation, review, and submission of reports to donors, project proposals, and contracts.
Support missions and the team in managing administrative files (translations, etc.).
Monitor and facilitate the submission of monthly APRs (narrative and quantitative), archive them, and forward them to the Operational Technical Advisors.
Facilitate the exchange of information within the pool, with missions and with other departments at Action Against Hunger Headquarters.
Draft meeting minutes (pool, country strategy, etc.), have them validated and distribute them.
Draft internal and external communication materials for missions, to be validated by the Regional Director of Operations.
Submit purchase requests for the pool.
Archive documents (project proposals, contracts, reports) by country and donor.
Participate in the organization and completion of documents on the No Hunger Forum platform, with the Program Support Officer.
Contribute to cross-cutting projects (project monitoring, reporting deadlines, and ways of working between the pool and missions).
Profile:
To be considered for this position, you must be enrolled in a Master’s program (Master 2 level), ideally in project management or international solidarity. You have a strong interest in the humanitarian sector, are capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, and possess excellent organizational skills. You demonstrate strong teamwork, autonomy, rigor, and excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential. Advanced fluency in both French and English is required.

Mandatory Condition: Must have an internship agreement issued by a French educational institution
Internship Duration: 6 months

Salary Conditions:
Paid internship at €4.57 net per hour (based on a 35-hour week).
Weekly working hours (38.75 hours).
21 days of paid time off (prorated to time spent in the organization). Days off for exams, university research, etc.
50% reimbursement of public transport costs.
Remote work:
Open to all candidates within metropolitan France, the remote work policy defines the job activities requiring mandatory time spent at headquarters, and allows you to choose to work remotely for the remainder of your time. To this end, a mandatory presence at headquarters of 4 days per month has been defined for this position. Time spent at headquarters will also be dedicated to team activities: an average of 3 days per month for meetings and team events, and 2 days of mandatory presence during the first 6 weeks of your onboarding.
