Mission :

Under the supervision of the Country Director, you will coordinate the definition and implementation of HR, financial, and logistical strategies, manage support and operational teams, and ensure efficient, compliant, and integrated program management by optimizing available resources and preventing financial, legal, misappropriation, or abuse risks.
In this context, your role will be to:
Contribute to the strategic definition and management of the mission;
Ensure the integrated coordination of support functions and operations;
Supervise and support field teams, consortia, emergency response, and support teams;
Guarantee compliance, risk management, and good governance;
Ensure overall operational management, representation, and continuity of leadership;
Contribute to business continuity.

Profile :

You hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in project management, organizational management, HR, finance, or a related field.
You have proven experience working for an international NGO in complex or volatile environments, ideally as a Field Coordinator or in a similar high-level position.
You are proficient in strategic management, including operational planning, strategy development, and the management of multi-sectoral programs, and you have demonstrated leadership with senior and multidisciplinary teams.
You possess strong skills in budget management, financial monitoring, and compliance, as well as practical experience in security management.
You are comfortable with HR, logistics, finance, and information systems, and know how to optimize internal processes, manage information, and allocate resources effectively.
You excel in negotiation, complex problem-solving, and managing relationships with high-level stakeholders. Your leadership, based on integrity, diplomacy, and leading by example, is complemented by excellent communication, analytical, writing, and stress management skills.
You demonstrate adaptability, strategic vision, and strong interpersonal skills, and are fluent in spoken and written English.

Employment conditions

National applications: in accordance with the ACF Burkina national salary scale.
International applications:
Fixed-term contract under French law: 12 months until 05/31/2027.
Gross monthly salary: from €2,899 to €3,376 depending on experience, including a 13th-month
bonus. Retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of the gross monthly salary.
Base salary increase: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract.
Monthly per diem and living expenses: €535 net, paid in the field.
Monthly context allowance: €300.
Child allowance: €1,500 per year per child present in the country of origin (capped at €6,000/year).
Transportation and accommodation: Travel expenses and accommodation in an individual apartment provided.
Medical coverage: 100% coverage for up to 1 month after the end of your contract.

Leave and R&R: 25 days of paid leave per year and 20 R&R days per year, plus €215 compensation per R&R day.
