Doctors Without Borders, an international humanitarian medical association created in 1971, provides medical assistance to populations whose lives are threatened: mainly in cases of armed conflict, but also epidemics, pandemics, natural disasters or exclusion from care.

The Payroll Assistant contributes to the payroll processing for MSF France and the Foundation. They provide support to the Payroll Manager and Payroll Administrators.

Main responsibilities:

Within the Payroll department, reporting to the Payroll Manager and working with the Payroll Administrators, you will be required to:

  • Provide support in the preparation and processing of payroll operations,
  • Perform first-level checks,
  • Participate in post-payroll and closing operations,
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the service, through various specific tasks and the updating of monitoring tools.

Desired profile:

Experience: You have at least one year of experience in a payroll department and are familiar with the main steps of the payroll process.

Skills: Comfortable with office tools, especially Excel, you have already used payroll software, knowledge of Workday is a plus.

Skills: Rigorous and reliable, you know how to work while respecting deadlines and confidentiality. You enjoy teamwork and can adapt to new tools and ways of working.

Employment conditions:

Status: Fixed-term contract of 6 months, full-time. Position equivalent to management level, based in Paris.

Salary and benefits : €38,400 gross annual salary paid over 13 months. 22 days of paid time off per year. Teleworking according to MSF’s rules (2 days/week). 100% employer-paid health insurance. Meal vouchers worth €12 (60% covered by MSF). 50% reimbursement of public transport pass (weekly, monthly, or annual) or bicycle mileage allowance (€0.25 per km, capped at €450 per year).

Position available: As soon as possible.

Due to administrative constraints related to the duration of the contract, candidates must already have a work permit in France (citizen of the European Union) or a residence permit allowing them to work on French soil.
