Founded in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights hunger worldwide. Its charter of humanitarian principles—independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, and transparency—has defined its identity for over 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection, and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Mission :
Under the supervision of the Youth Project Manager for the Bordeaux/Poitiers Academy, you will participate in the development of the Race Against Hunger by leading awareness sessions for young people.
Your responsibilities will include:
leading awareness sessions and engaging young people in schools within the Poitiers, Bordeaux, and Limoges academies;
representing Action Against Hunger in schools;
contributing to activity planning;
and supporting volunteers.

Profile :
You hold a two- or three-year post-secondary degree and have significant experience in youth work (BAFA certification preferred).
You have excellent interpersonal skills, particularly with children and teenagers, and are adept at teaching.
You are comfortable speaking in public and can adapt to a young audience. You are interested in humanitarian work.
Your organizational skills and attention to detail in managing schedules and time allow you to work independently.
As the position is based in Poitiers, with frequent travel within the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, you must have a driver’s license and ideally your own vehicle.
Employment conditions
Status: Supervisor – 2-month fixed-term contract (8 weeks) until April 3, 2026 – Full-time
Location: Poitiers with frequent travel within the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region
Salary: €30,000 to €34,000 gross per year over 13 months, depending on experience
Benefits: 25 days of paid leave per year and 21 days of RTT (reduced working time) Health and life insurance coverage: 80% covered by ACF

Travel allowance: 50% reimbursement of the daily rate between home and work

No mandatory on-site presence for this position, except for scheduled group meetings – Position based in Region.
