The International Aid of the Luxembourg Red Cross (AICRL), in partnership with the Red Cross of Chad (CRT), is recruiting a consultant or a team of consultants to support the legal, environmental and economic structuring of the Waste Sorting and Recovery Unit (UTVD) in Abéché, in the province of Ouaddaï.
This unit aims to improve the management of plastic and organic waste while developing income-generating activities through the production of recycled materials (latrine slabs, biochar, etc.).
The consultant’s mission will include, in particular:
- Analyze the current operating model of the UTVD;
- Define the appropriate legal status options;
- Develop a business plan for 3 to 5 years;
- Propose a sales and pricing strategy;
- Identify potential partnerships to support business development.
The mission is estimated to take 20-30 days of work, including a field mission to Chad.
