Job Summary:
ASSIST Asia is seeking a Cambodia-based Digital Content Writer (Consultant) to support a social media awareness campaign aimed at promoting digital financial literacy and encouraging the adoption of digital financial services among marginalized groups and communities. The ideal candidate will validate, translate, and adapt existing content—and co-develop new materials—ensuring cultural relevance and clear messaging tailored to the Cambodian context.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, validate, and translate concepts and copy for 10 social media art cards, aligning with Cambodia’s socio-cultural context.
- Translate and localize 2 one-minute video scripts based on approved key messages.
- Collaborate with internal teams and attend alignment meetings (if necessary).
- Draft, revise, and proofread all content to ensure clarity, cultural relevance, and grammatical accuracy.
- Work closely with the creative and production teams to ensure all deliverables meet project objectives and messaging standards.
Deliverables:
- Social media art card content and concepts (10x)
- Social media video scripts (2x, ~1-minute each)
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in social media content writing, ideally in development, communications, or public awareness campaigns.
- Strong skills in localization, translation, and adaptation of content for the Cambodian audience.
- Excellent command of written Khmer and English.
- Strong understanding of Cambodia’s socio-cultural nuances.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under minimal supervision.
