Job purpose

Supporting and meeting the diverse needs of women and girls, helping them achieve stability, and supporting their protection and enhancing their safety and security by providing case management services to participants, offering appropriate support, and ensuring cases are referred to specialized services, while preserving the dignity, privacy, and safety of survivors.

Main tasks

  • Receiving and assessing participants’ needs within case management sessions in a manner that respects the principles of confidentiality and privacy.
  • Develop and implement individual case management plans based on identified needs in collaboration with the case, and continuously monitor their implementation.
  • Making safe and effective referrals to other services (health, mental health, legal, material support, etc.) based on need, and following up on the response.
  • Monitoring and continuously updating the map of available services in the area.
  • Follow up with the protection coordinator regarding case management, documentation, and service provision.
  • Document all information and activities accurately and securely using approved case management forms, while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Participating in technical and professional supervision sessions with the specialized team to develop performance and discuss challenges and difficult cases.
  • Contributing to identifying risks and trends related to general protection and protection from gender-based violence within the target community, and raising them to direct and technical management.
  • Ensuring respect for protection principles, especially “confidentiality,” “non-harm,” “empowerment,” and “privacy,” when dealing with submissions.
  • Participating in capacity-building training provided by the organization to develop professional skills related to case management and protection of all kinds.
  • Follow-up on old cases at the center / GBV-GP / in cooperation and coordination with the protection team
  • Facilitating and preparing sessions for the Little Mothers Club program according to the approved plans and schedule.
  • Facilitating group psychosocial support programs to provide necessary support to women and girls, strengthen their skills in various fields, and help address issues and problems.
  • Preparing and facilitating monthly awareness sessions on various topics based on the needs and requests of participants, according to approved plans and a timetable.

Qualifications required for the job

  • Bachelor’s degree or associate’s degree in a relevant field
  • At least two years of work experience in case management and supervision
  • At least two years of work experience within non-governmental organizations.
  • Good knowledge of using Microsoft Office programs and Google Drive applications

Personal skills

  • Proficiency in Arabic with an intermediate level of English.
  • The ability to handle submissions professionally and sensitively
  • The ability to handle case management files confidentially and privately, and to maintain the privacy of posts.
  • Excellent communication, planning, coordination, organization, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • The ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Adherence to the organization’s values ​​and methodology.
