The Danish Refugee Council (DRC), one of the world’s leading humanitarian NGOs, is seeking a highly qualified Coordination and Compliance Group Facilitator (C&C-TN) in Tunisia. About the position The Coordination and Compliance Group (C&C-TN) in Tunisia is an informal grouping/collective of 35-member international organizations. The C&C Coordinator aims to independently ensure and strengthen coordination among member international NGOs. She/he will serve as a link between the C&C and other stakeholders. She/he facilitates better sharing of information and expertise, the establishment of common guidelines among member international NGOs, as well as adherence to fundamental principles for a more coordinated, efficient, and effective use of humanitarian and development resources in response to needs in Tunisia, and for more concerted advocacy by each member of the C&C-TN. Your main functions and responsibilities are: Strategic coordination and representation *Ensure transparent coordination mechanisms and regular information sharing between international NGOs and other stakeholders. *Establishment of Terms of Reference and a steering committee for the coordination group, establishment of a strategy *Facilitate the coordination of international NGOs at a strategic and operational level in Tunisia by organizing regular and quality meetings between country directors. *Ensure the flow of information, feedback, drafting of relevant agendas and timely follow-up of action points. *Strengthen international NGOs’ exchanges with national NGOs and civil society groups. *Upon request from members, identify and implement the advocacy strategy by mobilizing member organizations, drafting policy briefs and position papers. *Support the clarification of the identity and common missions of the C&C-TN *Ensure the proper functioning of the C&C-TN governance model Information sharing, analysis and best practices *Manage the C&C-TN contact and distribution lists *Offer regular analyses on humanitarian and socio-political issues in Tunisia. *Establish feedback and knowledge management mechanisms. *Ensure monthly meetings and disseminate reports *Ensure the entry and exit of group members on shared spaces *Serve as a focal point for members’ questions Your profile To succeed in this position, you will be required to have 3+ years of experience in a complex political, transitional, conflict or post-conflict context in a coordination role. You must also possess the following qualifications:Required Qualifications *University degree in a relevant field such as international development, humanitarian aid, political science or any other related field *Proven experience in network facilitation and animation *Communication, leadership and negotiation skills *Experience in developing funding proposals *Knowledge of the humanitarian system and international law *Good knowledge of the Tunisian civil society *Experience in Tunisia required. Experience in North Africa is an asset *Excellent computer skills and collaborative work tools *Fluency in written and spoken French and English. Desirable Qualifications Arabic is an asset.
