WORK CONTEXT
CESVI Foundation – ETS is a secular and independent humanitarian organization founded in Bergamo in 1985. It operates in 28 countries around the world, supporting the most vulnerable populations in achieving their aspirations and achieving sustainable development while respecting human rights. Based on the ideals of social justice, CESVI Foundation – ETS pursues the well-being of populations living in poverty or affected by war, natural disasters, and environmental disasters.
An integral part of CESVI’s mission is to implement projects throughout Italy and to strengthen the skills of nonprofit organizations in various regions of Italy, already working alongside CESVI on capacity-building initiatives related to planning, monitoring, and communication.
The Communication Support will be included in the teams that follow the communications of three specific projects being implemented in Italy:
Intesa Sanpaolo’s “Formula ” program , in collaboration with CESVI, supports projects in the following areas: emergencies and poverty; healthcare and vulnerable groups; social inclusion and community welfare; education, training, and orientation; urban and environmental regeneration; and cultural heritage conservation. CESVI, in this context, acts as Intesa Sanpaolo’s strategic partner to identify and support the best projects to be funded through the program, securely and transparently monitoring their results and impact. CESVI’s role also includes assisting nonprofits in managing appropriate and effective communications.
The ” Valore Condiviso ” project aims to create a national network of nonprofit organizations and aims to combat child abuse and family poverty in Italy by empowering vulnerable individuals, social workers, and the communities in which they live. It involves a series of specific actions, including capacity building for nonprofit workers, the provision of nonprofit grants, and research to monitor the phenomenon nationwide.
The “ Social Digital Call, Fund for the Digital Republic” program (project code 2024-DIS-00264 ) aims to strengthen the digital skills and facilitate the technological transition of a group of non-profit organizations located in various regions of Italy, already active alongside CESVI in capacity-building initiatives related to the planning, monitoring, and communication of fundraising initiatives.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The collaboration will begin in September/October 2025.
The resource will report to the CESVI Communications Manager or the relevant Communications Officer and will collaborate closely with the National Programs Unit; specifically, they will be responsible for:
- participate in communication activities and events identified to optimally disseminate project initiatives;
- support the review and monitoring of visibility and communication materials produced by the organizations selected by the programs during the fundraising phase and project implementation;
- interface with the organizations selected by the programs for communication aspects;
- participate in project visits;
- participate in the drafting, review, and monitoring of final project transparency reports;
- participate in coordination meetings also with the National Programs Unit;
- produce reports following the indications of the reference donors;
- create and validate content for dissemination on social media, coordinating with the entities involved in the projects;
- coordinate with external suppliers to create landing pages dedicated to the project and take care of their feeding.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Master’s Degree
Previous experience in similar roles (e.g., creating communications content; coordinating communications agencies, etc.) in the cooperation or ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) sector
Excellent knowledge of the main online and offline communication tools
Excellent writing skills
Editing skills for social media activities
Reliability and precision
Excellent predisposition for interpersonal relationships
Ability to work both independently and as an integral part of a team;
Flexibility
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent knowledge of the Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Passion for humanitarian causes and sharing CESVI’s mission
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience on social issues is preferable

CESVI pays particular attention to safeguarding the health of all the Organization’s human resources, and therefore, to protect each employee, a suitability assessment is required. This assessment will be carried out by the Organization’s medical officer.
