Action Education is an association for development through education, which for 45 years has ensured access to quality education for the most marginalized populations, in particular children, girls and women.
Basing its intervention on the values ​​of dignity, inclusion and integrity, on principles of action of transparency, accountability and solidarity, and thanks to the support of its godmothers, godfathers and donors, it now carries out projects in 13 countries in Africa, Asia and Europe – for more than 765,000 people.
In recent years, the organization has undergone major structural changes, both in its operational management and its governance. The foundations for this significant transformation have now been laid, and its practical implementation is underway. It is within this context, rich in prospects and dynamism, that Action Education is recruiting a Communications Assistant Intern.
MISSIONS
Within the international communications department, in collaboration with the entire team (6 people based in Paris and 8 internationally: Africa, Asia and Switzerland), your main mission will be to participate in the “regular” communications activities (publication on social networks, website updates, graphic and video productions, event planning, writing and proofreading articles, support for other departments – fundraising, volunteer movement, human resources, educational mission, partnerships, etc.).
The intern will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the association’s communication, particularly digital communication.
PROFILE SOUGHT
- Higher education, preferably Master’s level in communication or digital marketing, with an essential interest in the non-profit/humanitarian/development sector and in international affairs;
- Ideally, you have some initial successful experience (internship or apprenticeship) in similar roles;
- Passionate about creating video content;
- Excellent command of social media, particularly TikTok;
- You are known for your writing skills and impeccable spelling;
- You are versatile, methodical, organized, autonomous, responsive, proactive, rigorous, agile and know how to take initiative;
- You have a strong team spirit;
- You are creative and proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, as well as graphic design tools (Canva, Photoshop…) and video editing tools (Premiere, PlayPlay, CapCut…);
- Fluent English (written and spoken) is essential.

- 6-month internship, starting September 1, 2026
- 35 hours per week

- 50% refund of the transport ticket

- Possibility of working remotely, 2 days a week
