- You will coordinate the local team and the rest of the Delegation, according to the needs established by the head of the CRE Delegation.
- You will participate in the strategic and operational processes of the Delegation: sustainability tool, risk analysis, purchasing plan, financing mapping, etc.
- You will identify and formulate new interventions, in accordance with the priorities of the National Society and the instructions of the Head of Delegation.
- You will be responsible for any other tasks that may be relevant during the course of the mission within the framework of the action plan or in response to an emergency situation.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree, Diploma, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of one year’s experience in managing development cooperation projects and experience in emergency response
- Knowledge of International Cooperation and Logical Framework.
- English Level B2 spoken and written (Test will be given).
- Windows Environment Proficiency (Microsoft Office, Internet, etc.).
- People orientation.
- Have the necessary documentation to be hired according to Spanish labor legislation (DNI or NIE, social security affiliation number, bank account in Spain)
VALUABLES
- Experience in managing and coordinating teams and budgets.
- Previous work experience as a CRE delegate.
- Knowledge of CRE and its procedures for identifying, monitoring, justifying and controlling projects.
- Knowledge and/or experience with the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement: IMPACT.
- Experience in coordinating with authorities and other participating entities.
- Experience in projects funded by DG ECHO and AECID
- Experience in teamwork
- Knowledge of the country and the region of America.
- Basic skills of the Spanish Red Cross: Commitment to the Spanish Red Cross, Achievement orientation-perseverance, Organizational and planning skills and Collaboration.
- Be an active Red Cross employee or volunteer, or belong to one of the vulnerable population groups included in the Red Cross Employment Plan.
