Consultancy for the Design and Development of a Digital Caritas Internationalis Management Standards (CIMS) Platform At Caritas

Caritas Internationalis brings together 162 autonomous national organisations in more than 200 countries and territories across the world, each responding to its local context while forming one network that provides emergency relief, supports long-term development and calls for justice and peace.

The Caritas Internationalis Management Standards (CIMS) are a reference tool for member organisations, and for regional bodies and the General secretariat, to assess their progress at any given time, support ongoing institutional development, strengthen capacity and long-term sustainability. By applying them, the Confederation as a whole aims to become more effective through good governance, sound management and strong accountability.

💻 Design & Development of a Digital Platform

The assignment will support the next phase of the Caritas Internationalis Management Standards (CIMS) Review, transforming the revised CIMS processes and tools into a secure, user-friendly and sustainable digital platform including the digitalisation and integration of the Organizational Development Solidarity Fund (ODSF).

🎯 What will the consultancy cover?

The selected consultant/firm will support Caritas Internationalis to:

🔹Digitalise the CIMS process

🔹Develop a digital Organisational Review Tool (ORT)

🔹Digitalise the ODSF

🔹Build a CIMS information and reporting system

  • 📊 Dashboards and data visualisation
  • 📈 Trend and comparative analysis
  • 📋 Reports at Member Organisation, Regional and Confederation levels
  • 🔐 Secure, role-based access to information

🔗 Connect CIMS and ODSF so that relevant information from CIMS assessments, risks, priorities and Improvement Plans can be linked to ODSF applications and supported activities, reducing unnecessary duplication.
