Organisational Context
ECPAT International is a global network of organisations working together for the elimination of the sexual exploitation of children (SEC) in all its manifestations i.e., exploitation of children in prostitution, online child sexual exploitation, sale and trafficking of children for sexual purposes, sexual exploitation of children in travel and tourism and some forms of child, early and forced marriage. The ECPAT Network currently consists of 142 members working at national and local levels in 115 countries.
The ECPAT International Secretariat coordinates the global work of the organisation and is based in Bangkok, Thailand. The Secretariat designs and implements global and regional level programmes, and undertakes programming, advocacy and research and facilitates a range of network initiatives.
Background of The Project
ECPAT International working on review and improvements of the e-learning modules (training courses) for the travel and tourism industry to protect children from sexual exploitation.
Objective of the Consultant
ECPAT International is seeking a professional company with proven technical expertise in developing high-quality audio-visual training courses and materials for online delivery. The selected consultant will work closely with ECPAT International to enhance and upgrade the existing set of ten (10) online training courses currently hosted on ECPAT’s e-learning platform. The work will focus on improving content presentation, visual design, and the variety of learning modalities employed to create a more engaging and effective learning experience.
Expected Outputs
The consultancy will result in the comprehensive improvement and modernization of ECPAT’s existing online training courses, with a focus on the following:
- Scope:
- Total number of courses:Â 10
- Duration of each course:Â approximately 20 minutes (maximum 30 minutes)
- Technical requirements:
- The upgraded courses must be compatible with the LearnDash e-learning platform currently used by ECPAT.
- Final assessments or quizzes do not need to be developed, as these are created directly within the platform.
- The final deliverables must include:
- SCORM/xAPI files ready for upload to the platform; and
- Open project files (developed using Articulate Storyline) to allow for future editing and updates by ECPAT.
- Quality requirements:
- Each course should feature a visually appealing, interactive, and user-friendly design.
- The upgraded courses should integrate a variety of multimedia and learning modalities to enhance learner engagement and knowledge retention.
Timelines
The assignment will be carried out between November 2025 and January 2026. A detailed plan and timeline will be defined and agreed with the selected consultant at the start of the assignment.
Consultant Profile
- Demonstrated experience in developing high quality and innovative audio-visual e-learnings with the use of the newest technologies (please provide links or portfolio in the proposal).
- Understanding of learning processes and educational needs of adults for online learning.
- Fluency in English (writing and speaking).

Additional Information
- This is a home-based position using own equipment and communication tools of the consultant.
- The consultants should be available for online calls in Asia time zone.
- The project will be delivered in English; the materials will be also adapted and translated in other languages by ECPAT International.
- The Consultant is expected to act at all times in a manner consistent with the values of ECPAT International and in compliance with the organisation’s policies and procedures including Child Safeguarding Policy and the Code of Conduct.
