Consultant to Deliver Training on AI for Feminist Peacebuilding and Civil Society Resilience At Peace Track Initiative

1. Background

Peace Track Initiative (PTI) is a feminist peacebuilding organization working to advance women’s participation in peace processes, strengthen civil society networks, and support inclusive policy dialogue in Yemen and the MENA region.

Civil society organizations operating in fragile and conflict-affected contexts face increasing operational pressures, including shrinking funding, growing reporting requirements, and complex political environments. At the same time, rapid technological developments, particularly in Artificial Intelligence (AI) are transforming how organizations conduct research, manage information, communicate with stakeholders, and develop policy recommendations.

AI tools present important opportunities for civil society actors working on peacebuilding, governance, and human rights to strengthen institutional efficiency, improve policy analysis, and enhance advocacy impact. However, the use of AI also requires critical awareness of ethical risks, algorithmic bias, misinformation, and data protection challenges—especially when working with sensitive political information and vulnerable communities.

To strengthen institutional resilience and innovation, PTI seeks to engage a qualified consultant to design and deliver a practical training program on AI for Feminist Peacebuilding and Civil Society Resilience for PTI staff.
