PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The purpose of this role is to coordinate the comprehensive implementation of projects within the Program Unit (PU), ensuring the completion of all five stages of the project cycle with quality, timeliness, and alignment with the organizational strategy. This role involves leading the technical, financial, and administrative management of projects, strengthening the capacities of local partners, managing relationships with donors and key stakeholders, and representing Plan International in coordination, advocacy, and sectoral collaboration, thereby guaranteeing the organization’s strategic positioning at the local and state levels.

In the idea phase : Support in the development of the first concept note, its entry into the system, as well as the identification of local and/or international partners.

In the design phase: accompany the alignment of the concept note to the donor’s requirements.

  • The development of a Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP)
    1. Preparation of due diligence with the partners.
    2. The preparation of the project budget
    3. Develop a procurement plan
    4. Managing risks and problems
  • Responsible for developing the start-up plan (Developing a recruitment and staffing plan, preparing the baseline, donor compliance framework, engaging decision-makers, etc.)

In the planning phase : responsible for agreements with partners.

In the implementation phase :
