Mission :

The Field Coordinator has overall responsibility for their area; they oversee the development and implementation of programs in accordance with ACF’s mandate and procedures, provide leadership, and coordinate the activities of the program and support teams.
More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
Developing the strategy for your area of ​​intervention, in line with the mission’s objectives, and coordinating the implementation of this strategy;
Participating in external relations and discussions on the development of project proposals, and coordinating the implementation of programs in the area of ​​intervention;
Managing the teams in your area of ​​intervention;
Ensuring internal and external reporting according to the established formats and deadlines, as well as the functionality of accountability mechanisms, anti-fraud measures, and measures to combat SEA (Sexually Acquired Experience);
Ensuring security management in your area;
Supervising and ensuring the smooth operation of support functions.

Profile :

You have a generalist or technical background (Master’s degree or equivalent) from a business school, political science program, or higher education degree related to ACF activities.
You have initial experience in project development and proven experience in coordinating a base and in positions of significant responsibility.
You are experienced in security management in volatile environments.
You are fluent in written and spoken French. Written and spoken English is desirable.
You are proficient in computer skills.
You are able to write and synthesize data and ideas.
You are interested in local cultural specificities and know how to adapt your communication and approach.
You know how to manage and implement a continuous operational monitoring mechanism and you are proficient in the project cycle.
You have the ability to analyze contexts (security, humanitarian, etc.).
You know how to organize and manage priorities.
You know how to manage a team and are able to unite program and support teams around common goals.
Prior experience with ACF is a plus.
Employment conditions
: Mpox vaccination is recommended for employees traveling to this country.
Fixed-term contract under French law: 5 months starting September 7, 2026.
Gross monthly salary: €2,597 to €2,968 depending on experience, including a 13th-month bonus.
Retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary.
Base salary increase: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract.
Monthly per diem and living expenses: USD 1,105 net, paid on-site, and monthly context allowance: €450.
Child allowance: €1,500 per year per child present in the country of origin (capped at €6,000/year).
Transportation and accommodation: Travel and shared accommodation provided
. Medical coverage: 100% coverage of health insurance contributions and repatriation insurance, and your medical expenses for up to 1 month after the end of your contract.
Salary maintenance provisions (illness, maternity, paternity).
Leave and R&R: 25 days per year of CP and 20 RnR per year; coverage of the ticket with a ceiling to travel to the chosen break zone, and 215 euros of flat-rate compensation per RnR.
