This role acts as a bridge between the design and construction phases, ensuring that all on-site operations adhere to the project’s technical specifications and timelines. This includes managing workers, supervising operations, and providing innovative solutions to optimize construction processes while fostering a safe and collaborative work environment.
Tasks and Responsibilities of the Job
- Develop, monitor, and implement project work plans according to defined outputs.
- Conduct regular inspections of construction units.
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Implement measures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Compile accurate estimates for technical and material requirements.
- Evaluate construction operations and processes.
- Propose and implement design changes to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Conduct a Test for the material and structural integrity.
- Integrate eco-friendly and sustainable features into design plans.
- Create graphical representations of proposed solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive proposal documents and presentations.
- Compile and present reports explaining project details to non-technical stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Direct engineering activities, assign tasks, provide training, and offer support.
- Create and manage work schedules, adjusting as necessary to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all site engineering activities.
- Collaborate with the project manager to align engineering activities with desired business outcomes.
- Work closely with agencies and organizations for collaboration.
- Perform any other tasks as guided by the Project Manager.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Field Engineer or in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD
- Turkish nationality is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of construction operations, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in design and project management software.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, especially with non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work in the field and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and planning skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and tasks efficiently.
- High-level problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- very good proficiency in Arabic or English (written and verbal).
