Job summary

responsible for implementing the media plan and visual documentation (photography and videography) of project activities, producing media content in line with donor requirements and the Media Department’s guidelines. The role also coordinates with media outlets, ensures compliance with the organization’s visual identity, and supports the organization of relevant media events.

Qualifications and education requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Media, Journalism, Communications, or an equivalent field.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Advanced knowledge of photography and videography equipment.
  • Good knowledge of office applications and email systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in photo and video editing software.
  • Experience in journalistic writing and editing

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow up on the implementation of the project’s media plan and ensure compliance with it.
  • Capture photographs and videos during project activities in accordance with the media activities defined in the project.
  • Duplicate and frame photographs according to the guidelines set by the Media Department and donor requirements.
  • Provide photographs in both low- and high-resolution formats, select 30 relevant photographs, and upload the most relevant images to a designated cloud storage link.
  • Conduct interviews with beneficiaries and ensure that all beneficiaries have provided informed consent for photography and video documentation.
  • Edit recorded videos and produce them in a professional manner that meets donor requirements and aligns with the Media Department’s vision.
  • Prepare and contribute to scripts for short stories, case studies, and success stories as required.
  • Accompany media representatives during the coverage of project activities and events and provide the necessary support and facilitation to ensure successful media coverage, in coordination with the direct supervisor.
  • Ensure that the organization’s visual identity is consistently maintained across all activities.
