Job Summary, Objective and Purpose
Site manager works
(Field Site Manager) Oversees all field operations for the home restoration project. The position aims to ensure work is carried out according to approved plans and specifications, efficiently manage field teams, and monitor work quality and safe implementation. This ensures that project objectives are achieved on time and in accordance with engineering standards and policies approved by the organization and the donor.
Job duties and responsibilities
Supervise and manage all field activities of the project and ensure compliance with technical specifications and engineering standards.
Follow up on daily work progress and solve technical and administrative problems at field sites.
Managing engineering, technical and contractor teams to ensure efficient and high-quality work execution
Preparing and reviewing periodic field reports on progress, quality, risks, and challenges
Coordinate with other project teams to ensure smooth running of the project and meeting the project schedule.
Supervising the provisional and final acceptance of works and ensuring their compliance with specifications
Monitor the use of materials and equipment and ensure their quality and compliance with technical specifications.
Develop field work plans and improve operating procedures to ensure efficiency and quality.
Participate in coordination meetings with internal teams, beneficiaries and contractors.
Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health standards, quality policies and accountability
Providing technical and administrative support to field teams when needed
Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the project management to ensure the achievement of project objectives.
Job requirements
university degree
civil or architectural engineering
Required specialization
Languages ​​Arabic English
Other requirements
At least 5 years of practical experience in field project management or construction site supervision
Experience in supervising work teams and contractors and ensuring quality of implementation
Knowledge of engineering standards for reconstruction and repair projects
(MS Office) and engineering design software such as AutoCAD Highly skilled in using basic computer software
Ability to work in multi-tasking field environments and adapt to different working conditions
