The UNESCO Jordan Office is seeking a company to conduct the final evaluation of the project “Local Communities and Sustainable Tourism in Petra and Wadi Rum” funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation. The project was designed to support the conservation of the Petra and Wadi Rum World Heritage Sites and strengthens local communities’ role in their preservation and in sustainable tourism, including through support to women-led businesses. The evaluation will assess the project’s performance against the OECD-DAC criteria and generate evidence-based findings and lessons to inform future programming.
