Finance Officer – khan Shaykhun At IYD International Humanitarian Relief Association

Job Purpose

Ensure the application and adherence to the financial policies and procedures followed by the Authority and its supporting partners, while ensuring the accuracy and quality of financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Contributing to the training of new staff within his authorities and organization’s policies.
  2. Bids attendance based on the organization’s policies.
  3. Key the data on officially accounting system.
  4. Documentation all supporting documents hard copies and soft copies with registering them at tracker system.
  5. Participation in the process of organizing and paying monthly salaries to employees.
  6. Checks and follows all documents received and confirm complied with organisation policies.
  7. Execute the vendors payments and received the bonds amounts.
  8. Preparing the cash request from HQ within official procedures.
  9. Participation in cash distributions for projects.
  10. Other related work that the line manager may request

Qualification (Education/Work Experience)

  1. Essential:
    • Bachelor’s or institute Degree in business administration, or Economics or related fields.
    • Two years of progressive professional experience.
    • Good level in English, and Arabic.
  2. Desirable:
    • MBA or master’s degree in business administration, or related fields.
    • More than two years of progressive professional experience two of them with NGOs
