Solidarités International’s Food Security & Livelihoods (FSL) interventions support communities from the initial shock absorption phase with food and cash assistance, extending to strengthening the resilience of their livelihoods to cope with and adapt to future shocks (see SI’s 2025 FSL strategy for more information). The Market-Based Approach (MBA) is a key component of SI’s interventions, as markets serve both as a means of distributing assistance to communities (through cash transfers) and of developing the local economy, access to employment, and entrepreneurship, thereby strengthening local livelihoods.
Under the hierarchical supervision of the Technical HR Manager, the Technical HR and Tools Referent provides methodological and technical support to Country Offices on specific HR expertise and on the use of HR software, in a logic of advice and support on demand.
He/she contributes to the development of HR standards, tools and best practices, ensuring their correct and harmonized implementation in the field.
He/she plays a key role in strengthening the skills of HR Coordinators, with the aim of improving the quality of HR practices in Country Offices and optimizing their autonomy.
The HR technical and tools expert is responsible for a specific area of expertise, for which they are identified as the key resource person. The topics and responsibilities associated with this area will be detailed in an individual roadmap.
His/her mission is to support, advise and assist HR coordinators, in particular by participating in times of exchange and reflection around field HR issues, in order to contribute to the search for appropriate solutions.
They support the management and maintenance of the HR department’s tools and information systems and contribute to the improvement of existing processes and tools. They participate in the selection and development of new tools and provide training and technical support to new users.
Education and Experience
- Field experience in HR within the humanitarian sector in senior positions;
- Practical experience in talent management and HR tools is highly valued.
- Initial training (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) in human resources management, business school, social law or work psychology.
SKILLS
- Mastery of HR issues related to humanitarian missions;
- Computer skills (365 package);
- Proficiency in the Homer software;
- A taste for new technologies
- Excellent writing skills and good oral communication;
LANGUAGES
Complete mastery of French and English, both spoken and written, knowledge of another language is an asset.
