France – Internship: Marketing And Administrative Assistant (M/f) – Paris/clichy At International Solidarity

Location : headquarters of SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL in Clichy

SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL (SI) is an international humanitarian aid organization that, for over 40 years, has been providing assistance to populations affected by armed conflict and natural disasters by addressing their vital needs: water, food, and shelter. Particularly committed to combating diseases linked to unsafe water, the leading cause of death worldwide, SI implements its interventions with expertise in the areas of access to drinking water, sanitation, and hygiene promotion, as well as in the essential areas of food security and livelihoods. Present in 26 countries, SI’s teams—a total of 3,200 people including expatriates, national staff, headquarters staff, and a few volunteers—operate with professionalism and dedication, respecting local cultures.

Context

Within the Development and Communication department, composed of 12 people, and directly reporting to the marketing campaign and regular donations manager, you will provide administrative support and participate in the operational monitoring of marketing/fundraising campaigns as well as donor relationship management.

Job description

Main tasks:

Paper mailings for customer loyalty and prospecting (30%):

  • Working with the field teams and the communications team, I collected contextual and operational information, testimonials from beneficiaries, and researched visuals for the briefing to agencies.
  • Participation in the creation of the works, proofreading and correction of the texts
  • Verification of the final version of the mailings: Checking the address block, personalization, and URLs/QR codes

Street Marketing Campaigns 30%:

  • Team visits on site to verify the message delivered and to motivate the teams
  • Information exchange with service providers: keeping them informed about current events in our countries of operation, offering innovative content
  • Escalate any complaints from the donor relations department
  • Monitor weekly results and check cancellation requests in the pre-attrition phase (before the first withdrawal).
  • Ensure, in conjunction with the logistics department, that recruiters are provided with all the necessary equipment for the successful completion of their mission (clothing, etc.).

Support for donor relations – Major gifts and bequests (20%) :

  • Support in preparing and sending thank-you notes to major donors (letters and emails)
  • Support for the formatting and proofreading of communication materials related to bequests and donations (brochures, web content, internal documents, support vouchers, etc.)
  • Participation in the administrative follow-up of certain donor relations activities

Support for the collection service: 20%

  • Monitoring the online and offline media of other players in the sector, fundraising campaigns and communication campaigns.
  • Archiving and sorting: Sorting and tracking of the collected material and the trap mailings carried out
  • Administrative support: Agenda/minutes of departmental meetings in support of team members
  • Support in the context of calls for tenders: Administrative monitoring and sourcing related to purchasing

Support for invoice registration

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree (3-4 years of higher education) / Specialization in Marketing/Communication
  • Knowledge of Offline Marketing Techniques
  • A passion for writing
  • Qualities: rigor, autonomy, responsiveness, adaptability, patience, good interpersonal and writing skills
  • Interest in the humanitarian/non-profit sector
  • The best part: Understanding of English

If you offer the following conditions

  • Internship based at the headquarters of SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL in Clichy (92), near the Mairie de Clichy metro station
  • Possibility of partial remote work
  • Compensation: 5.60 euros/hour
  • Public transport costs are 50% covered by SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL
  • Meal vouchers at €8.90 per day of actual attendance, with a 60% contribution from SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL
