Assignment:
Under the authority of the FSL Project assistant, the FSL – Incentive Labor (Field Supervisor) is responsible for supporting the implementation of the FSL activities undertaken by ACTED or sub-contracted, matching with ACTED’s quality criteria and strategy.
He/She is fully responsible of the activities decided by the FSL Project Assistant in terms of quality, respecting ACTED technical guidance notes and SOPs.
CHAIN OF COMMAND

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the project Assistant, project officer and the senior project officer, the incentive labors – Filed supervisor – skilled responsibilities include:
1) General responsibilities:
- Supports the Project assistant on the activities implementations and field visits (Needs assessments, beneficiaries’ selections, registrations, program verification, activities monitoring).
- Participates to and support technical assessments for potential targeting areas for defining new intervention areas.
- Regular follow-up and monitoring of project activities in an organized manner, and ensure feedback receiving from beneficiaries throughout the project cycle (registration, identification of activities, distributions, and monitoring).
- Sensitize beneficiary communities on project objectives and activities, collect and report feedback
2) Reporting:
- Collects photos of program implementation and ensure that donor visibility is respected.
- Assists in the identification and location of beneficiaries when requested.
- Draft activity reports and submit daily and weekly updates to the line manager.
- Regular reporting to FSL Project assistant for any challenges identified in the field.
- Support with filing / organizing the documents.
3) Technical Tasks
- Supports the implementing of FSL activities.
- Participates in training provision/nutrition awareness session for beneficiaries aligned with ACTED guidance notes and training materials.
- Participates in identifying and documenting best practices and lessons learned.
- Ensure technical accuracy of beneficiary procurements (invoices, items checking, documents, crowded management shopping/distribution, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Have at least 2 years of experience in working with INGO/NGO – Preferred
- Basic knowledge or Above in Office program especially Excel and word. – Preferred
- Have at least 2 years of experience working in FSL sector – Preferred
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or economics.
- The candidate is female
- Residency in Raqqa governorate
- Have at least 1 year experience in FSL programs with INGO/NGO.
- Have able to travel between North Syria location.
- Fluency in Arabic.
- Supervision on the FSL activities (Needs assessments, beneficiaries’ selections, registrations, the program verification, activities monitoring)

- Under the authority of the Food Security and Livelihoods Project Assistant (FSL Project Assistant), the Food Security and Livelihoods Officer – Motivational Labour (Field Supervisor) is responsible for supporting the implementation of food security and livelihoods activities undertaken by ACTED or its contractor, in line with quality standards and ACTED strategy.
- Be fully responsible for the activities decided by the Food Security and Livelihoods Project Assistant in terms of quality, respecting ACTED’s technical guidance notes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

- Main responsibilities:
- Under the supervision of the Project Assistant, Project Officer, and Senior Staff, the Motivational Workforce – Field Supervisor responsibilities include the following skills:
- 1) General responsibilities:
- Support the Project Assistant in implementing activities and field visits (needs assessment, beneficiary selection, registration, program verification, activity monitoring).
- Participate in and support technical assessments of potential areas to identify new intervention areas.
- Regularly follow up and monitor activities in an organized manner, and ensure feedback is received from beneficiaries throughout the project cycle (registration, activity identification, distribution, and follow-up).
- Educate beneficiary communities about the project’s objectives and activities, collect feedback, and report on it.
- 2) Reports:
- Collect program implementation images and ensure compliance with donor visibility requirements.
- Assist in locating beneficiaries upon request.
- Prepare draft activity reports and provide daily and weekly updates to the line manager.
- Provide regular reports to the Food Security and Livelihoods Project Assistant on any challenges identified in the field.
- Support in organizing and storing documents.
- 3) Technical tasks:
- Support the implementation of food security and livelihood activities.
- Participate in delivering nutrition training/awareness sessions to beneficiaries in line with ACTED guidance notes and training materials.
- Participate in identifying and documenting best practices and lessons learned.
- Ensure technical accuracy of beneficiary purchases (invoices, item verification, documentation, shopping/distribution management in crowded areas, etc.).
- Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience working with international and non-governmental organizations – preferred.
- Basic or advanced knowledge of Office programs, especially Excel and Word – preferred.
- Minimum 2 years experience working in the food security and livelihoods sector – preferred.
- Mandatory requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or economics.
- The candidate must be female.
- Residence in Raqqa Governorate.
- At least one year of experience in food security and livelihoods programmes with international or NGOs.
- Ability to move between locations in northern Syria.
- Fluency in Arabic.
- Supervise food security and livelihood activities (needs assessment, beneficiary selection, registration, program verification, activity monitoring).
