The job description
We are looking for fundraisers to join our fundraising team at Médecins Sans Frontières Switzerland. As a fundraiser, you will be responsible for raising donations to support our humanitarian projects around the world.
You will work closely with our communications team to plan and implement effective fundraising campaigns. You will also be responsible for raising public awareness of MSF’s humanitarian causes and recruiting new donors.
To be successful in this role, you should be a passionate communicator committed to humanitarian causes. You should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be comfortable working outdoors and meeting people from diverse backgrounds.
- Collect donations to support MSF’s humanitarian projects.
- Run effective fundraising campaigns.
- Raise public awareness of MSF’s humanitarian concerns.

Education
- Preferably: Retail Specialist

Experience
- Experience in sales, customer service or promotions
- Experience as a fundraiser (street talker, fundraiser) is an advantage

Working conditions
- Frequent travel throughout German-speaking Switzerland. Common starting point: Zurich.
- Fixed-term contract depending on the duration of the campaigns
- Variable activity rates
- Ideal start date: as soon as possible
- Gross monthly salary for a 100% position: CHF 5,502
