The position aims to contribute to improving the integration of an intersectional gender approach in Doctors of the World’s programs in the Sahrawi refugee camps (CPRS), promoting the right to health of the refugee population through the identification, formulation, implementation and evaluation of actions that consider the social and gender determinants of health.

Responsibilities
- To contribute to the incorporation of the gender approach based on human rights and other cross-cutting approaches in the strategy and programs of Doctors of the World in the Sahrawi camps in Tindouf.
- Promote the development of the human rights-based gender approach of the mission and its implementation through MdM intervention in the CPRS.
- Contribute and actively participate in the different phases of the project cycle: identification, formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, ensuring the incorporation of cross-cutting gender, human rights and anthropological approaches in the actions developed, and guaranteeing their suitability to the context of the CPRS.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of MEAL systems of MDM programs with tools, instruments, mixed approach methods, indicators, actions and participatory activities to ensure the incorporation of cross-cutting gender approaches based on human rights and an anthropological approach in the programs.
- Advise and propose actions to ensure that MdM programs are aligned with international strategies, conventions and protocols on human rights, women’s human rights, sexual and reproductive rights and the rights of persons with disabilities.
- Identify and compile lessons learned and good practices in the mainstreaming of rights-based gender cross-cutting approaches
human and anthropological aspects in evidence-based MDM programs, driving and leading knowledge production and management.
- Complete the relevant sections of the reports and results feedback documents in accordance with the Donors’ requirements and MdM’s internal monitoring tools.
- To propose and implement actions and initiatives that promote an organizational culture of equality within the team that makes up the mission of MdM.
- Ensure the technical and management training of national teams and local counterparts, providing support when necessary and ensuring a proactive and constant flow of communication.
- Support the Country Coordination in representation and dialogue with funding entities.
Training
Academic Qualification: Academic background: degree/bachelor’s degree in social and/or health sciences
Cross-cutting training in Human Rights and Gender.
Demonstrated training or experience in project formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, with a gender and human rights focus
Additional Training: Specialized training in protection, public health, International Cooperation and/or Humanitarian Aid.
Requirements
Languages : Spanish C1, English B2. French and Arabic are a plus.
Information Technology : Professional level proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and MS SharePoint tools.
Experience
- Two years’ experience in similar positions.
- Experience in coordinating gender and human rights projects.
- Experience in third sector organizations.

Remuneration/Conditions
Salary tables for Doctors of the World. Permanent contract.
