Are you an experienced Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) professional with a passion for advancing evidence-based MHPSS practice in humanitarian settings? - Develop and/or support development, adaptation and rolling out of technical guidelines, models, tools, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials to meet operational needs.
- Support National Societies in assessing technical capacity needs, and in designing and implementing capacity-strengthening plans, including trainings, coaching, mentoring, and technical supervision.
- Support the integration of MHPSS, where appropriate, across other sectors, particularly health, disaster preparedness and response, protection, climate, and livelihoods.
- Provide technical support and quality assurance for the design and implementation of MHPSS assessments, baselines, endlines, reviews and evaluations.
- Contribute to the development and monitoring of MHPSS quality indicators and support programme teams in using monitoring findings to improve MHPSS interventions.
- Support and, where appropriate, lead the development of MHPSS project proposals aligned with donor requirements and DRC strategic priorities and technical standards.
- Undertake MHPSS surge/deployments in support of DRC bi-lateral operations and wider RCRC Movement responses, including multilateral deployments with the ICRC and the IFRC.
