Mission :

Under the supervision of the Deputy Country Director – Programs, your mission will be to ensure the quality of all donor relations, including project proposals and reporting, adherence to deadlines with headquarters and donors, and participation in fundraising activities in the country to generate funding opportunities. You will coordinate the identification, structuring, and management of relationships with Action Against Hunger Chad’s partners.
Your responsibilities will include:
Contributing to the implementation of the mission’s donor strategy, coordinating the project proposal submission process and ensuring the quality of submitted proposals;
advising and training field teams in the preparation of donor documents, as well as internal reporting and monitoring documents;
organizing the production and monitoring of donor documents and internal reporting and monitoring documents;
monitoring the management and administration of grants;
implementing, structuring, and formalizing the partnership approach between Action Against Hunger and its partners in conjunction with the Technical Departments and Field Coordinators;
and defining and implementing a mutual knowledge transfer and capacity-building process with project partners.

Profile :

You hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in international relations, political science, international cooperation, humanitarian project management, or development. Ideally, you have additional training in project management or humanitarian finance.
You have 3 to 5 years of experience in managing humanitarian or development projects, and proven experience in donor relations, coordinating with local and international partners, and working with international NGOs.
You possess technical skills in writing and preparing project proposals, budget monitoring and grant management, and narrative and financial reporting.
You are familiar with donor procedures and the humanitarian context in the Sahel/Chad.
Your managerial skills enable you to train and support field teams, ensure interdepartmental coordination, and work effectively with field teams. You are also capable of structuring and formalizing partnerships, working under pressure, and meeting tight deadlines.
You have excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English, strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail in document management, collaborative leadership, and diplomacy.

Employment conditions

Fixed-term contract under French law: 6 months until 30/11/2026.
Gross monthly salary: from €2,597 to €2,968 depending on experience, including a 13th-month bonus.
Retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary.
Base salary increase: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract.
Monthly per diem and living expenses: €838 net, paid on-site.
Monthly context allowance: €150.
Child allowance: €1,500 per year per child present in the country of origin (capped at €6,000/year).
Transportation and accommodation: Travel and shared accommodation provided.
Medical coverage: 100% coverage of health insurance contributions and repatriation insurance, and your medical expenses for up to 1 month after the end of your contract.
Salary maintenance schemes (illness, maternity, paternity).
Leave and RnR: 25 days of paid leave per year and 20 RnR days per year; coverage of the ticket up to a maximum limit to travel to the chosen break zone, and a flat-rate allowance of €215 per RnR.
