Mission :

Under the supervision of the Deputy Director of Finance for Operations, you will work in the Country Offices of Action Against Hunger (ACF) France to meet the support and replacement needs of the Finance Department Manager.
Your missions and activities in the field (85% of your time) will be as follows (regardless of the type of deployment):
Provide support to Country Offices on issues pre-identified by the Regional Finance Manager and the Country Director (travel of 2 weeks to a maximum of 2 months);
Ensure reporting of field experiences; Draft end-of-mission and/or handover reports and submit them to the Regional Finance Manager, the Country Director, and the Deputy Chief Financial Officer for Operations;
Draft and share recommendations with the Finance Department Manager, Country Director, Regional Finance Manager, and Regional Director of Operations, as well as with the Deputy Chief Financial Officer for Operations.
Your missions and activities at headquarters (15% of your time) will be as follows:
Participate in operational or organizational projects within the Finance function;
Report on the need for procedure updates and propose adaptations;
Provide support within The Finance Department Delegated to Operations, according to the Association’s priorities

Profile :

With a Master’s degree (Master 1 and/or Master 2) in finance, management, or accounting, you have at least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role within an international NGO (ideally with ACF). You have experience in budget management across multiple projects with significant budgets.
You are known for your organizational skills, rigor, and flexibility. You are comfortable managing a complex financial system.
You have proven team management skills and strong problem-solving abilities.
You are fluent in spoken and written French. Knowledge of SAGA accounting software is a plus.

Employment conditions

Fixed-term contract under French law: 6 months.
Gross monthly salary: €2,597 to €2,968 depending on experience, including a 13th-month bonus.
Retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary.
Base salary increase: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract.
Specific multi-country posting allowance: 15% of gross monthly salary
. Child allowance: €1,500 per year per child present in the country of origin (capped at €6,000/year).
Transportation and accommodation: Travel and shared accommodation provided.
Medical coverage: 100% coverage of health insurance contributions and repatriation insurance, your medical expenses (as well as those of your dependents if a family-based position), up to 1 month after the end of your contract.
Salary maintenance provisions (illness, maternity, paternity).
Leave and R&R: 25 days of paid leave per year and 20 days of R&R per year. Year; coverage of the ticket with a cap to travel to the chosen break zone, and a €215 flat-rate allowance per RnR.
