Summary of the position
The Human Resources Officer will be responsible for managing and supporting various HR functions to ensure smooth and efficient operations within the office. This role requires a dedicated professional with strong communication skills, a comprehensive understanding of HR policies and procedures, and the ability to handle confidential information. The HR Officer will work closely with staff and management to foster a positive work environment and address HR needs effectively.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Facilitate new employee onboarding, including orientation sessions, document processing, and integration into the team.
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Address and resolve employee issues and conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment history, and performance evaluations.
- Prepare and process HR-related documentation such as employment contracts, change notices, and termination paperwork.
- Prepare and submit HR reports as required, including attendance, turnover, and employee statistics.
- collect and prepare monthly timesheets,
- calculate and prepare monthly payroll
- Follow up on recruitment, including Job Posting and Advertising, Candidate Screening and Shortlisting, Interview Coordination and Scheduling, Job Offers and Onboarding, Candidate Database Management
- Ensure the implementation of the policy in the organization through continuous coordination with the management and different sections.
- ensure payroll policy is properly implemented
- Review time sheets, salary computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies;
- Keep track of leave time, such as Administrative, personal, and excused absence leaves, for employees.
- Maintain proper, accessible, and confidential payroll and timesheet archives.
- Follow up on the implementation of the performance management policy, including the process of setting objectives and conducting evaluations at the end of the performance review cycle.
- Follow up on the implementation of the training policy, including assessing training needs, developing a training plan, and monitoring its execution.
- Providing support to HR departments in healthcare facilities supported by SAMS.
- Participate in HR meetings or any other assigned meetings when necessary.
- Provide all needed documents and reports for several stakeholders.
THE CANDIDATE’S REQUIREMENTS
Mandatory Qualifications required:
- University degree in human resources, business management, or any related certificate
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Human Resources.
Languages:
- Fluent in the Arabic language (Mother Tongue).
- Upper intermediate written and spoken English language.
