Doctors Without Borders, an international humanitarian medical association created in 1971, provides medical assistance to populations whose lives are threatened: mainly in cases of armed conflict, but also epidemics, pandemics, natural disasters or exclusion from care.
We are actively seeking Human Resources Coordinators (HRCo) to join the teams operating in the countries where MSF France intervenes.
Your mission
As a member of the coordination team, you are responsible for defining, adapting, planning, and overseeing the mission’s HR strategy. You ensure human resources management is consistent with operational needs, the local legal framework, MSF policies, and field challenges. You are a true strategic partner to the operational teams.
Your main responsibilities
- As HR Coordinator and member of the coordination team, you define and implement the mission’s HR strategy, ensuring its consistency with operational challenges, the local context, the legal framework and MSF’s values.
- You play a strategic partner role, ensuring that the mission has the necessary human resources, both in quantity and quality, to achieve its objectives. This involves anticipating needs, adjusting team composition, and developing the skills of national and international staff.
- You are responsible for the proper administrative, contractual, and legal management of staff, in compliance with MSF policies and local obligations. You also ensure the quality of HR management by supporting managers in defining job descriptions, ensuring the systematic preparation of individual performance reviews, identifying and monitoring training needs, and contributing to discussions on team composition.
- You are in charge of recruiting and leading your team (support, field visits, individual assessments, etc.) by providing regular support, particularly through visits to projects.
Desired profile
Experience :
- Minimum 2 years in human resources management and team management
- at least 12 months in a coordination position in the humanitarian field
Skills and abilities:
- Good command of Excel

Availability : Minimum 12-month commitment
What we offer
- Fixed-term contract of 12 months , full-time.
- Salary (from November 1st) between €50K and €60K gross per year depending on seniority and relevant experience
