OUR VISION OF INTERNSHIPS

Internships at HI provide students with the opportunity to grow within an international organization and take part in the work of Humanity & Inclusion. We believe that successful interns are our future talents!

INTERNSHIP OBJECTIVES:

Within the Emergency Department, you support us in monitoring humanitarian crises.

Activity 1 : You support the monitoring of humanitarian crises

  • Carrying out contextual analyses, particularly on the crises in Sudan, Chad, South Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia, Haiti, DRC, Mozambique, Venezuela and Colombia
  • Development of a daily press review
  • Writing thematic publications (politics, food security, etc.)
  • Presenting essential information to other team members

Activity 2 : In the event of a sudden change in context, you participate in the internal alert process and potentially in monitoring the response:

  • Crisis analysis and humanitarian impact assessment
  • Increased monitoring of the context in connection with the field and focal points at headquarters
  • Writing and sharing a publication summarizing the elements of the crisis: context, needs, current responses
  • Regular sharing with the emergency team on current developments

Activity 3: You contribute to the collection and synthesis of humanitarian data

  • Collection of data from priority contexts
  • Categorization and integration into database
  • Support for analysis, including infographics/mapping of developments
  • Contribution to the improvement of humanitarian monitoring and alert processes

Activity 4 : You provide support for the overall operation of the hub

  • Development and formalization of internal communication media (intranet, articles, publications)
  • Translation of documents
  • Taking notes during hub meetings and internal workshops
  • Support for various administrative tasks of the center

Finally, you provide support on various files to the emergency department, depending on needs.

OUR WORKPLACE:

Ideally located in the heart of the lively Monplaisir Lumière district, our premises are accessible by public transport (bus, metro). Bicycle parking is available.

All workstations are located in open spaces, and cubicles are available on each floor for working in peace and quiet if necessary. The workspace is very bright.

Within the building, access ramps and elevators ensure better circulation.

A disability representative is available to answer any questions and assist you with your procedures.

Depending on your needs, the position can be adapted.

YOUR PROFILE:

You want to join the Humanitarian

You are on a training course in political science, international relations, international solidarity, humanitarian action, risk and disaster management, etc.

You have real writing skills and a capacity for synthesis

You are passionate about current geopolitical issues

You know how to organize yourself and manage your priorities, so don’t hesitate, this course is for you!

INTERNSHIP CONDITIONS:

6-month internship starting 09/15/2025

You will receive:

· A monthly bonus of €669.90

· Meal vouchers with a face value of 8.96 euros (60% paid by the employer, 40% by you)

· A 50% contribution to your transport subscription

· Many sports and social activities are offered on our premises

You must have a mandatory internship agreement issued by a French educational or training establishment.
