Tetra Tech is looking for experts for upcoming donor funded programmes in Jordan and the Middle East region. Tetra Tech has a long track record of delivering international development programmes in the region, supporting stability, economic reform and good governance.

The Position
We are seeking experts for both short, and long-term positions with significant experience in the following fields:
Social protection experts, specifically:
- Social protection system reform (system strengthening, inclusive shock responsive, humanitarian system alignment)
- Pensions and contributory social insurance systems strengthening, including policy and legislative reform
- Public financial management and social protection financing
- Development and improvements to national Management Information Systems (MIS)
- Institutional strengthening, policy reform and development in the social protection or host/refugee space
- Strategic communications and behavior change
- Gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) in the social protection and government assistance space
- Monitoring and evaluation of social protection reform
Senior experts in wider sectors with experience in:
- Strategic communications
- Countering and preventing violent extremism
- Security sector reform and community policing
- Civil society strengthening and inclusive dialogue
- Community resilience and stabilization
- Institutional strengthening, policy reform and development
- Public financial management and economic reforms (revenue reform, inclusive budgeting, tax reform)
- Development and improvements to national Management Information Systems (MIS)
- Political Economy Analysis
- Gender equality and social inclusion (GESI)
- Monitoring and evaluation
The Person
For all the above fields of expertise, the person specifications are:
- 7+ years of experience in your field of expertise
- Experience of engaging with Government of Jordan counterparts, especially at the Ministerial level
- Experience working with governments on donor-funded programmes in the Middle East
- Experience with FCDO, USAID, EU, World Bank, UN, ILO and/or other donors preferred
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results on donor funded activities
- Fluency in Arabic and English
