Background: PIN Armenia has successfully rolled out the humanitarian response to displaced from Nagorno Karabakh. With the upcoming ECHO funding the humanitarian assistance will be complemented with short term recovery support through vocational skills development and livelihood support. In this stage it is also crucial to start planning long term integration support – combining triple Nexus approach
Managerial tasks/scope
- Overall supervision and management of PIN Armenia portfolio of humanitarian and recovery programming, incl. line management of assigned national staff
- Supervision of a consortium of international and local partners within the current programming
- Meeting and consultation with relevant stakeholders identified in the area; regularly engaging with state and non-state actors (international and national) in relation to coordination and seeking synergies
- Management of the program budget spending and forecasting
- Ongoing capacity building in the area of durable solutions for Armenia-based staff
- Preparation of the narrative reports (both for internal and donor use)
Fundraising/positioning tasks/scope
- Representing PIN in relevant humanitarian/early recovery networks, coordination platforms and towards donors
- Explore innovative programmatic ideas relevant to the context, lead on assessments and research; lead the proposal writing processes.
- Maintain communication with the HQ and other PIN country programmes to seek good practices and programmatic approaches replicable in Armenia context,
- Continuously contribute to increasing program quality, value for money, and impact-based approach
- Participates in country strategy development and implementation
Requirements:
- Previous working experience in the recovery/nexus context (in South Caucasus / former USSR an advantage)
- At least three-year management experience in humanitarian/development sector
- Perfect command of English (Russian and/or Armenian are an advantage)
- Proven skills in proposal writing
