CONTEXT AND JUSTIFICATION OF THE POSITION:
The Kananga Zonal Office has approximately 60 permanent users, using TEC services for the implementation and support of field operations. The management of technology and communication tools and support for users requires monitoring and presence for constant support.
This position is essential to provide support to all users with the current requirement for the use of new technologies for managing activities, beneficiaries and the digitalization of all our actions. This request is crucial to the operation and must be met urgently.
This is the only TEC position within the Sub-Office, given the constraints linked to available resources.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (indicative and non-exhaustive list):
The position holder will be responsible for providing support to users in the field of IT services;
Under the administrative responsibility of the Head of Office and the technical supervision of the head of the IT unit. He/she will assume the following functions:
Coordinate the installation and maintenance of IT infrastructure and services to ensure their proper functioning
Ensure access control and equipment maintenance so that staff are well equipped for their work.
If necessary, organize training sessions to ensure optimal use of the tools and systems in service.
Assist in the preparation of documentation and guides for using the services.
Analyze and propose solutions for improving services and procedures in place Coordinate with all partners to adhere to security instructions.
Produce the reports defined as part of operations management
Maintain inventory and ensure regular maintenance of equipment, make recommendations as part of improving services
Follow emergency procedures in force in order to facilitate WFP operations in the context of the emergency and specific security conditions
Carry out all additional IT tasks in support of PAM operations.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
EDUCATION
University level and various technical training in the fields of IT and telecommunications.
EXPERIENCE
Management and administration of operating systems.
At least four years of professional experience at increasingly higher levels of responsibility in the field of information technology and telecommunications (desirable). Specifically, experience with LAN, WAN, WLAN, VSAT and PABX installation and troubleshooting, Exchange Server email system administration, Office 365 desktop application support, Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure, IT support and management.
