Legal caseworker – Voluntary basis with stipend At Mushkila Kabira

MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO RESIDE IN EU/GREECE FOR 6 MONTHS.

What we need: Mobile Info Team is seeking a dedicated, compassionate individual with a strong issue in human rights, specifically regarding issues affecting people-on-the-move, to join our casework team. Preference will be given to people who can demonstrate prior experience in asylum law or who have worked in the refugee sector. Knowledge of the Greek refugee context is not required but would be very beneficial.

Benefit: A challenging and fulfilling work experience with beneficiaries and other actors involved in the refugee crisis in Northern Greece. You will gain in-depth knowledge of asylum procedures in Greece and family reunification processes. As a long-term volunteer, you will be heavily involved in all aspects of our casework, have your own caseload and over time gain a higher level of responsibility. To facilitate your time here, we offer a compensation of 400 Euros per month.

Commitment: To be able to offer continuity to the people we support, we are looking for a commitment of at least 6 months.

Where: Our office is located in Thessaloniki, Greece. All applicants must be eligible to reside in Greece.
