Overview of position:

• The Renewable Energy Engineer will work directly under the supervision & overall guidance of the Chief Engineering Officer.

He will be responsible for the following:

• Designing, developing & implementing renewable energy projectsworking out the technical and economic aspects of new renewable energy sites, including solar installations carrying out site & ground condition inspections for new & existing sites & survey sensuring that the installation and running of renewable energy sites meets environmental lawspreparing project plans, schedules of work and cost estimates managing the integration of the renewable energy produced into existing system writing & presenting technical reports preparing energy plans at mission level & providing planning support to the Chief Engineer Officer.
• Developing technical guidelines, manuals, planning documents for the mission projects.
• The incumbent will directly supervise personnel, as directed by the Chief Engineer.designing solar Photo Voltaic Power Systems (PVPS), for renewable energy based irrigation & end uses, site identification, feasibility study, procurement support, installation, after sales services of renewable energy projects.
• Strengthening technical capacity of the mission on renewable energy & developing technical expertise in all matters to do with energy & environmental control.

Experience:

• Relevant to the role.

Languages:

• Fluent in English.
• Working knowledge of Arabic is desirable.

Team management:

• The incumbent will directly supervise personnel, as directed by the Chief Engineer.
