About you
It is essential you have excellent training and communication skills, for engagement with large cohorts of participants. You must be self-motivated and demonstrate a high level of initiative.
It is expected you have experience in developing and implementing delivering training programs and have strong organisational and time management skills.
The deliverables for this position are:
- Prepare and maintain up-to-date Pre- and Post- Departure (Arrival) Briefing resources and materials relevant to the Timor-Leste context.
- Identify and engage local partners that can add value to the delivery of the Pre- and Post- Departure Briefings and Work Readiness programs.
- Ensure that the LSU team are trained and ready to assist in this delivery when necessary.
- Work with partners to coordinate attendance at internal and external Work-Ready Skills Programs, including fitness tests, English courses, digital literacy programs CV preparation and interview skills.
- Complete required administrative tasks linked to this role, including working with the Quality, Learning and Performance (QLP) Coordinator to distribute surveys and collate feedback from workers.
The boxes you must tick:
- Tertiary qualification in education, training, or similar relevant discipline or at least 3 years demonstrated experience in the development, delivery and facilitation of training programs and coaching/mentoring of others.
- Excellent skills in the use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Demonstrated understanding of Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) processes, principles, and practices.
- Understanding of Pacific Labour Mobility programs.
- Experience in fast-paced working environments, with tight deadlines.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills for high-level external engagement and report writing.
