Chemonics seeks technical experts and specialists for the anticipated five-year USAID-funded Multispecies Biodiversity Conservation Activity. The Activity will aim to improve the protection of key wildlife species and their habitat in Bangladesh. Activities will mitigate threats to wildlife and habitats, reduce consumer demand, improve political commitment and coordination, improve traceability of illegal logging and wildlife, and improve sustainable management of forest and aquatic resources.

We are seeking technical experts/specialists with 5-7 or more years experience in one or multiple of the following technical areas:
- Wildlife expertise with research and/or conservation focus on species types including but not limited to Bengal tigers, Asian elephants, pangolins, turtles, tortoises, sharks, and rays.
- Combatting wildlife trafficking
- Combatting illegal logging
- Environmental governance
- Sustainable management of forest and aquatic/marine resources
- Social and behavior change communications
- Alternate livelihood development
- Natural resource management
- Community engagement
- Capacity building
- Gender responsive programming
